PACA represents all Agile and Scrum practitioners including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Professional Scrum Developers, Scaled Professional Scrum with Nexus and actively promotes policies, objectives and programs of PACA. PACA is dedicated to advancing the practice and profession of Agile and Scrum in a more conscious and proactive manner. PACA is committed to providing professional, educational and representational support in the Agile and Scrum Community and to promote educational development programs that support the advancement of its members. The Professional body will serve the interests of its Members using the body’s professional services, the public and the national interest specifically to;

OBJECTIVE AND GOALS OF THE ORGANIZATION

  • Set benchmark standards for the Agile Profession
  • Conduct research to build, grow and enhance the Agile / Scrum profession
  • Influence the education and development of Agile / Scrum professionals
  • Issue certificates for professional designations gained and maintained
  • Maintain and update a register of its members
  • Communicate with public on the career paths available within the community on certifications and of its members

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

Membership is qualified as those providing application, receiving approval for membership and paying applicable dues. There shall be 5 categories of membership: Student Members, Retired Members, Full Members, Fellow, Governor.

  • All interested persons shall submit to the General Manager an application in such form and with such particulars as the Board shall from time to time prescribe;
  • Applications for membership shall be accompanied by a remittance covering the required application fee which shall be refunded should the application be unsuccessful
  • The decision to admit an applicant as a candidate membership or to reject the application shall be at the absolute discretion of the Board
  • We will be completely impartial on accepting or rejecting applications for membership as to race, gender and language. All matters will be dealt in English
